The rising incidence of obesity is a health crisis which needs our attention.  Every year, the statistics show that more and more people, especially children, struggle with being overweight and suffer from health conditions linked to excess body weight.  Obesity is considered a preventable disease, yet it seems that we are unable to find a solution to this health care problem.Obesity is the second leading, preventable cause of death in the United States.
